Avengers: Age of UItron Movie Review
Today is the day, Avengers: Age of Ultron is in theaters everywhere!
Whether you have a favorite Avenger or not, Avengers: Age of Ultron has something for all Marvel’s cinematic Universe & comic’s fans out there, including newcomers that will join the regular six Avengers! Avengers: Age of Ultron is the sequel to the 2012 blockbuster movie, The Avengers. In it, our beloved & earth’s mightiest super heroes, including Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), assemble to protect humanity from a new threat, the villainous, Ultron (voiced by James Spader).
Supporting the Avengers are agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and War Machine (Don Cheadle). If seeing your favorite super heroes come together in this movie (this is number 11, by the way) of this titanic franchise wasn’t enough, the Avengers are also joined by a character that has played a huge part in The Avengers, Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 movies.
Yes, I am talking about J.A.R.V.I.S., which in Age of ultron will be transformed into the Vision (Paul Bettany). The Vision is an synthetic android being with one of the six infinity gems on his brow. The Avengers are also joined by twins brother and sister duo, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff a.k.a, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson).
Quicksilver possesses the ability to move at superhuman speeds and Scarlet Witch has the abilities of telekinesis and hypnosis. Rounding up the characters in Age of Ultron is Ultron himself. After The Avengers raid a Hydra outpost in the Eastern European city of Sokovia, discover the scepter and an artificial intelligence program.
Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, load this artificial intelligence program onto Stark’s “Ultron” global defense program, which in turn, turns into the sentient ultra-intelligent being of Ultron. Ultron believes that humanity’s problem is humans themselves and this needs to be resolve, but the Avengers will have to change Ultron’s plans for humanity’s sake.
Now that I given you an overview of the movie, I want to tell you want I loved about Avengers: Age of Ultron. In Age of Ultron, Joss Whedom, let us see another side of the Avengers themselves. You will learn more about their lives outside of their alter egos, who are these heroes beside Avengers? Many unexplored sides of the Avengers’ personal lives will come to light, so watch for a few surprises in the movie. As the Avengers funny side as well, check out my favorite scene in the entire movie, The Hammer Lift Competition.
Avengers: Age of Ultron “The Hammer Lift Competition”
The movie is spectacular with amazing effects, human emotions, comedic scenes and dialog. Don’t expect to walk out of Avengers: Age of Ultron disappointed, this movie is remarkable. Avengers: Age of Ultron will connect all the dots from all the other stand alone Marvel’s Cinematic movies, both past and future! One thing I would like to note is that Avengers: Age of Ultron is rated PG 13. Hope you have as much fun as I had watching this movie & go see and let us know how you liked it.
