We had a great summer: we got to see new places and meet new people. As our summer came to a close, we had a few more unique and exciting experiences yet to come! To celebrate the release of the movie EPIC, 20th Century Fox and our friends at Jungle Island, invited my kids and I to experience Jungle Island’s critter tales. Critter tales is a unique, interactive encounter with some of Jungle Island interesting animals.
In the movie EPIC kids get the chance to see mother nature in action, at Jungle Island my kids and I got to get a behind the scenes look at the Serpentarium critters including: turtles, frogs, a bearded dragon, Rex the iguana and a friendly python snake.
As part of the experience, the kiddos got the amazing chance to feed Rex the Cuban iguana! The kids also got to hold a nine-year old albino python, which to my son’s amazement is it his age! Critter tales is a private experience and it is available at various times throughout the day, prices are $99.95 for Adults & $91.95 for Children (ages 3-10) per person and includes park admission.
Critter tales was a great way to experience mother nature first hand, my son decided to interview our host Adriana and you can see the video above. Thank you to 20th Century Fox and Jungle Island for the invitation.
Epic was released on Blu-Ray & DVD on August 20, you can purchase the movie on Amazon or any mayor retailer near you. Epic starts Beyoncé Knowles, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, and Amanda Seyfried.
From the creators of Ice Age comes the year’s funniest, most exhilarating animated adventure! Transported to a magical world, a teenager (Amanda Seyfried) is recruited by a nature spirit, Queen Tara (Beyoncé Knowles), to help the “Leafmen” save their existence – and ours – from evil warriors. The whole family will love this fast-paced thrill-ride, with its astonishing animation and an all-star voice cast that includes Colin Farrell, Oscar® Winner Christoph Waltz and Steven Tyler!
Disclosure: My family and I received complimentary admission to Jungle Island, show access and lunch. No monetary compensation was received and as always all opinions are 100% mine.
